Unfortunately, if you aren’t careful - you can leave traces that the PDF has been edited very easily.
Tools You Need
MacOS
OpenAI/Claude/{pick your AI} (we will use it to get a lot of generic help)
A PDF Editor

PDFs can be edited with certain tools. Our favorite is PDFGear (for MacOS) - it’s free.
Not Leaving a Trace
Editing PDFs unfortunately leaves lots of metadata traces that can easily be identified by modern tools.
We will leverage two tools to strip these traces. We will run these tools through the MacOS command line:
